Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-Acupuncture was developed in China during the 1950's to use as anaesthesia during surgery. It is now used regularly by Traditional and Western practitioners, and has been shown to be particularly helpful in pain control. Similar to TENS, a small electric current is used to stimulate the needles, which then trigger a release of pain-modulating effects, useful for joint or back pain.
